More Students, More Hope: Noor Academy’s Remarkable Year
A Year of Remarkable Growth
This past year marked a major milestone for Noor Academy:
Enrollment increased by 38%
185 students completed the academic year
100 students advanced to the next grade level after passing their final exams
235 students enrolled in the fall—with a waiting list already forming
Perhaps most striking: the cost to educate a student for an entire year is just $200, allowing every donation to stretch further and reach more children in need..
Investing in Futures: Scholarships Launched
In 2025, Noor El-Salam launched a new scholarship initiative to help outstanding students continue their education.
So far:
$3,000 has been awarded
Three students with strong academic performance and financial need are already benefiting
It’s a first step toward ensuring that promising young learners don’t have to stop dreaming because of economic hardship.
Looking Ahead to 2026
The year ahead brings bold and compassionate plans:
🎵 Launching a music program
🧠 Funding a full-time social worker to support students coping with trauma
📜 Exploring NGO and accreditation status in Lebanon to strengthen long-term sustainability
Each of these efforts is designed to deepen the Academy’s impact and care for the whole child—mind, body, and spirit.

Noor El-Salam is currently seeking in-kind donations of:
Children’s gloves, mittens, and hats
Musical instruments
Art supplies
Students warming with donated hats!
If you’d like to contribute items, please email info@noorelsalam.org to arrange drop-off. Amine plans a school visit on February 15, so timely gifts are especially helpful.
Financial donations are also vital to sustaining daily operations and expanding programs.
